CAPE TOWN: Neighbours of a four-month-old baby who was mauled by a pit bull terrier have described in detail how they tried to save the infant from a horrific death.

Parents of the four-year-old baby girl are preparing for her  funeral after she was mauled to death by a dog at the weekend in Ravensmead near Elsies River . The Good Hope SPCA said it was unclear who the dog belong. Spokesperson Belinda Abraham said the family was not familiar with the dog. Video by: Tracey Adams/ANA
