CAPE TOWN: Shack dweller Badoreniesa Essen’s home was demolished by the Anti Land Invasion Unit, after her friend Faiza was shot and killed inside their shack in Hibiscus street, Lentegeur Mitchells Plain on Wednesday. The 40-year-old lived in a shack on a field behind the Lentegeur Police Station. Essen said she was on her way to the shack when she heard the gun shots being fired . Video by Tracey Adams
