PRETORIA: WHEN the nonprofit organisation, BAZART reached out to French ambassador Christophe Farnaud for an opportunity to showcase graffiti art, he couldn’t refuse.  Some came from as far as Joburg, and said they were eager to see graffiti being showcased in a space it typically isn’t seen in. 

Travel and lifestyle blogger known as Mzansigirl said, “What I love about street art and graffiti art is that it makes it accessible to the public and beautifies our streets, especially in a place like Joburg where it’s a little bit grungy. The whole street art graffiti culture documents people’s experience. I think there’s a really great dialogue to be had.” Video by: ANA
