As South Africa winds down and starts getting into serious festive season mood, YouTube has once again released its annual Rewind – looking back at the most-watched videos for the year globally and in South Africa.

This year’s most-watched videos in South Africa had us rolling in the aisles, shaking our heads, gasping in admiration and getting noticed by none of than Megan Trainor. Judging by the number of comedy and entertainment videos in the mix – 7 out of 10 – South Africans needed a bit of the lighter side this year.
