CAPE TOWN: Movember Foundation is the only global charity focused solely on men’s health, funding over 1,200 innovative projects across 21 countries. The Foundation raises funds and awareness from men’s health programs supporting prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. On Wednesday traffic cops from Green Point traffic department participated by shaving their beard in support of people who are living with cancer. Firefighter Timothy Hart who has been living with cancer for three years advised people not to be scared nor ashamed when they are diagnosed with cancer because it can happen to anybody.
