“Goodnight my
babe‚ we will meet in the morning.”

 These
were some of the parting words penned by the wife of the late Gospel star,
Sfiso Ncwane, as her sister read out to the crowds that gathered at Moses
Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

Ncwane’s
wife, Ayanda, was too emotional to speak but penned her parting words to her
husband as her sister read it out.

 “Thank you for
the perfect experience of love. The hardest word to write was goodbye‚ so I’ll
say‚ ‘goodnight my babe‚ we will meet in the morning‚’” read part of the letter.

 Gospel
fans, dignitaries and family paid tribute, despite wet weather conditions.

 The
‘Kulungile Baba’ singer won hearts across the country as tributes and speeches
at his funeral service conveyed how inspirational and caring he was to those he
came into contact with.

Ncwane died at the age of 37 at Fourways
Life Hospital
in
Johannesburg
due to kidney failure on Monday. His wife Ayanda was by his side when he died.
He had been taken to hospital the previous night.

His
music is said to be thought provoking, life-changing and emotional.

Fellow
musicians and singers paid tribute to Ncwane through song and dance. They
danced around his casket in celebration of the amazing legacy he left behind.
