The first day of SAFW SS17 kicked off last night at The Park at Hyde Park Corner.
Young + Lazy designer Anees Petersen showcased a relaxed and laid back look with his collection inspired by Cape Town street culture.
His Y+L label was part of the Woolworths StyleBySA show and one of eight local designers in the Woolworths capsule collection.
From cool crisp whites to marshmallow pinks these pieces can be taken from skateboard to beach side.
Petersen brings back tartan in relaxed fit tops and comfortable baggy pants.
Kimberley born and raised designer, Thebe Magugu, also showcased a solo collection which formed part of the Woolworths StyleBySA show.
Magugu is one of eight local designers who features in the Woolworths capsule collection.
His collection features beautiful khoi designs, rich tones of orange and burgundy with rock climbing rope and carabiners details bringing a masculine edge to this feminine collection.
Day 2 will kick off tonight at Hyde Park Corner.
