#RapeAtJunction was the number one trend on Twitter on Thursday the 17th of November in which it is related to students at the Wits University residences who mobilised and protested an alleged rape that took place at Wits Junction, a student dormitory.
In one of the videos on social media relating to the story, a female student is seen confronting university management. In the video she explains that a female student at the university was raped and had attempted to take her own life following the alleged assault.
