A Durban
motorist outwitted his carjackers outside his home, when he noticed a white
Golf tailgating his vehicle, on Tuesday night in Shallcross.

The unidentified motorist explains the swift maneuver in a video posted
on Facebook, saying he initially opened the driveway gate from afar and decided
to hastily enter his premises before they approached him-  but then he stopped.
