The legislation regarding South Africa’s National Qualifications Framework has been recently amended by Parliament and the amendment Act came into force this week.
And you could face five years in jail or a hefty fine for making false tertiary qualification claims.
Any person can report you to the authorities if they see you have lied about or even bragged about your qualifications social media such as LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook.
