Brian Temba Makiwane, or Ranthumeng as he is commonly known to his Muvhango fans, had an exclusive chat with IOL about his second single dropping this Friday, from his much awaited album UnABC.

“The single is titled ‘My number 1’ and it features Uhuru. At some point in my life I was exposed to the Kizomba music, which is an Angolan sound. It is slow, romantic and also has a bit of a Caribbean melody to it. I loved it. Coming up with this song was essentially me wanting to do something African, and this is African; but also keeping to my RnB melody as well. Singing Brian Temba,” he says.
