Activist Gloria Steinem quotes Drake’s diss track in her women’s march speech
The Anti-Trump Women’s March taking place in Washington DC and other cities in America has been making headlines this past few days. Many high-profile celebrities such as Madonna, Alicia Keys, Scarlett Johansson, Katy Perry and Rihanna went out to attend, perform and deliver speeches at the march.
However, one speech that stood out was that of activist Gloria Steinem who quoted Drake’s diss track aimed at rapper Meek Mill.
The famous “Back to Back” lyrics are “Yeah, trigger fingers turn to twitter fingers”. This reference was a warning to Donald Trump who is now the President of the most powerful country in the world.
Steinem warned Trump that “a Twitter finger must not become a trigger finger”:
