Angry residents of Phumlani village in Grassy park took to the streets to protest against the inhume living conditions in the informal settlement. Residents barricaded roads and set tires alight.  A few residents clashed with police and began throwing stones and were believed to have been in possession of pangas. Video by Marvin Charles
